2016 BMG Festival

The British BMG Federation Festival is held every 2 years and took place in Glasgow this year. As an orchestra we entered the main orchestral competition on Sunday, 13th March and some smaller groups took part in other competitions

Our 16 minute program pleased the judges and we managed to retain the Coronation Cup for entertainment. Our quintet, Bright n Early won the Clifford Essex Cup.

The whole program can be seen here :-

Germany 2014

4 Days in Dudenhofen, Germany, May 2014

Twelve hours travelling in a coach is a long time and most of us questioned our sanity in agreeing to such a long trip, but not our fearless leader, Lindsay, nor, I suspect, our driver, Dave.
It proved to be well worthwhile thanks to the hospitality of our wonderful hosts, the Wanderclub Edelweiss, some interesting sightseeing and some inspiring performances at the BDZ Eurofest in Bruchsal.

2014 BMG Rally

The biennial British BMG Rally took place this year in Bristol over the weekend of 14th - 16th March and the orchestra participated once again. We have had a lot of success in the competitions in the past, winning cups for our performances in the main orchestra event and also with various smaller groups.
