The Fretful Federation Mandolin Orchestra, returns again with another sellout show. This year we have soloist Chris Slack performing the Vivaldi Mandolin Concerto in C. Also performing contemporary compositions by living composers, folk and other genres. |

At the BMG Rally in London, the orchestra will be competing in the main orchestra section to be held on the Sunday. Various small groups will also be taking part in other competitions and workshops. Orchestras from all over the country will attend this big event in our calendar. |

The Fretful Federation Mandolin Orchestra present a concert in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. This popular group of musicians led by Ian Harris will be playing a varied mix of music, some well known, some not, but always entertaining. The musical saw will also make an appearance as will the Mango Trio. |

| Oct 10 Monday | Alison Stephens R.I.P. | Alison played with us at K.E.H. in February 2010. Sadly the cancer that was being treated overwhelmed her and she died on October 10th, 2011. The proceeds (£200) from this concert went going to her Trust Fund to support young Mandolonists. |

The Fretful Federation's Annual Brighton Festival Fringe Extravaganza. This year we hosted as guests the RMGO Mandolin Orchestra from Zwolle, Holland. (who also played a Charity concert that raised £450 for St Anne's Day Centre for the homeless in Kemp Town) We concluded with a Massed Orchestra performance (55 players) of Palladio by Karl Jenkins. |
